Interpersonal relationships: Types and variations!

Kinship: There's nothing very difficult to understand in this kind of a relationship. Genetic relations like the mother, father, brother etc. are segregated in this category. You need to understand that kinship is many times subject to social factors also. Even when two people get married, it leads to kinship as their relationship is officially accepted by the society. The family of in-laws also is considered in the kith and kin category.

Formalized ventures: These are declared commitments. Few Marriages, adoptions and guardianships can be called formal relations. They are mainly put down on papers and once the legalities are fulfilled, these relationships hold true. Even though these relationships don't start or deepen due to existing emotions, they stand strong and the understanding sets in slightly later. Civil union basically stands for the society that loves speculating each and everything.

Non-formalized relations: These are kind of publicly undeclared relationships driven solely by emotions. These relationships can grow to be really intimate. For example, the girlfriend-boyfriend trends or even the live in relationships can be counted under this category. These relationships do not stand strong as per the law.

Intellectual relations (Soulmates): These relationships extend much beyond words. In these relationships, more than the body and the love, it’s the mind that governs. People whose brain waves match can be called soulmates. A sense of mutual acceptance prevails between the two of them and their souls are apparently married to each other. Sexual intimacy is not guaranteed in this kind of a relationship. All the emotions simply arise from the sense of belongingness and extensive understanding of the opposite party.

Casual hook-over: These are basically sex-driven emotions. Love is lust- this phrase stands true in this kind of relationship. Infatuations can also be segregated into this category. Casual hook-over generally occurs between two people who are sexually attracted to each other.

Platonic love relationships: These are cute and lovable category of relationships. The sexual element is cent percent missing in this kind of a relationship. This kind of a relationship falls into place when the sense of togetherness is more than enough to keep things going.

Comradeship: One of the most well-known kinds of relationships. The ship that will never sink is called 'friendship' and this stands true when you’ve a friend with whom you can share your world and it's happenings. There are infinite numbers of quotes that can be jotted down on friendship, but its essence truly extends beyond all of them. Association is a major trait of these relationships and one can identify oneself easily with the opposite party. The comfort level is excellent and hence, this bond can be called a really superior one.

Partnership or workplace relationships: These relationships are born out of the interaction that takes place at the workplace of a person. Professional as they can be termed, their boundaries should be confined to only the offices. Community relationships to a great extent can be counted amongst these.

Acquaintance: This kind of relationship amounts to certain bit of artificiality. This is when you only know a person by his name or face.
